Great old school service and expertise! This business should be where you start your search for e scooters, e bikes and those elusive parts! Segway Ninebot class parts are difficult to find in NZ. Even finding a brake cable at a local store is a ridiculous mission. Appears Segway don’t make their parts and service documentation - at least for ex hire variants - available to independent shops and the public. Came in at 3pm on a long weekend Saturday. Luke is their go to man for service and parts. without disassembly Luke couldn’t determine correct cable length but was still able to supply me with a cable that looks like it’s the one i need- if not i can fit this one externally for now and sort out a permanent replacement using the broken cable once i’ve removed it from the bar stem. it’s increasingly rear to find businesses that are happy to spend time helping you resolve problems with products that you didn’t even purchase from them. When I’m in the market for a new a scooter or a bike I’m gonna be coming to these guys first and if they’ve got something that I like I’ll buy it from them rather than someone else even if it costs more because I know that I’ll be not only purchasing the E scooter or bike but after sales Service. The time that can be wasted with little to know after sales support easily exceeds any cost saving at the time of initial purchase. Much rather know that I can get consumables and other issues solved on the spot without mucking around and not be forced to spend days and days or weeks off the road and hours and hours of wasted time making pointless inquiries. so refreshing not being told cable has to be sourced overseas and asked to email an enquiry as was the case with the other shops who were higher up the google search list - no doubt due to keyword spam and SEO. so happy i now know where to go! So grateful that we still have local businesses that give a s@&! about their wares and customers! Kapai!!!!’

He's so much gorgeous! He is someone who considers what is the best electric scooter for the customer seriously. I just recently got a InMotion Air Pro from this store and am new to this. Andrew and Joorno were so helpful with explaining it to me simply and were patient with answering my queries. Would definitely recommend for entry level customers who are looking to purchase an e scooter :)

I went to see an ex- demonstrator that had popped up on their social media ads the evening before. Straight to the point, Andy was helpful and friendly. The trail round the tuff crater right next to the shop is great for a test ride, and I drove away with exactly what I went for, at a great price.

Since getting into the craze that is E.Scooters 😂 we meaning José and myself Kim have purchased 4 yes 4 E.Scooters from The Electric Scooter 🛴 Shop now In Devonport 😁.. it started off with our boys getting Segway-Ninebot Max’s through PB Tech and then my partner knew what he wanted after researching and we ended up in Devonport. I never said anything about myself (Kim) buying one for me. But we ended up leaving the store back in November 21 with a Dualtron Victor in the back of our car 😂😂 and Jose had requested the VSett 10+ Which he had to wait quite some time for 😂😂😂🤪.. that was fine. We practiced using one of the Segways n the Dualtron (we had no experience what so ever) we had hiccups along the way with my boy having a minor incident and we took it back and Jono and his mechanic had a look and fixed her right up. After a bit I had to take her back due to no fluid was getting through to break.. and again they fixed her up. Now after 2 / 3 months my boys have learnt how to handle our scooters and we thought it’s time to upgrade so that we don’t have to wait for them anymore 😂😂. So we came just this weekend gone to View some scooters, Between the INOKIM OX n VSett 9+. The boys even we both myself n Jose tried both scooters and found we all preferred the VSett’s. We had only planned on Viewing and test driving to see what was better out of both scooters. We had asked quite a few questions that ticked many boxes for us. But we chose the V.9+ and the boys didn’t have any issue on time due to closing in less than 15mins. They got the scooters from storage unboxed them, tightened everything, tested them and we were off. So helpful with our requests and not wanting to brush us off quickly. All in all. I find Jonno and the whole team have a lot of knowledge when we ask so many questions. They are friendly and can be approached without a hiccup. Great service when I went in to buy my Inokim Quick3 electric scooter today. Knew their stuff and a friendly bunch. Loving the scooter and has been fun riding it around town (plenty of grunt to make it up the steep hills!). Thanks again, will be back at some point to buy a second one I think!
