The Fighter Mini is perhaps mis-named, as it isn’t so ‘Mini’, more of a compact light-middleweight with street fighter appeal. Rocking a racey 10 x 3 inch wheel with low-profile tyres offering excellent grip, and outstanding manouverability from the  shorter wheelbase and relatively light weight. Hydraulic brakes will snap you to a standstill when needed.

 

Performance is sizzling, with twin 1000w motors, driven hard by twin 25amp controllers and a 52V, 20.8ah battery for excellent range. It’s the definition of ‘pocket rocket’!

 

Well-lit with an array of LED’s for safety and visibility, and embracing the new style of neck-clamp for wobble-free operation and rigidity.

 

The TFT screen is bright and visible in all light conditions, a big step forward from screens of the past and putting competitors (literally) in the shade.

 

The Teverun Fighter Mini is a new breed of performance compact scooter, with ample speed and power, but all in a manageable, lightweight format. Perfect for a fun work commute, or ripping some trails with mates at the weekend.

 

For a more affordable option look at the Blade Mini Pro, and to step things up a notch take a look at the epic Fighter 10 or 11, or perhaps the Vsett 10+ or Makuta 10+.

Pocket rocket

I have using this scooter for a daily 20km commute in a Hamilton for the last 3 months. The power on this scooter is awesome however power significantly drops below 80% and below 50% top speed drops to about 35km/h. 20% battery gets me 10km at 100kg. There are quite a few settings that need changing out of the box for safe usage that the instructions/workshop didn't help with. I joined the Teverun fb group to get help with all the settings to change. Brakes are set at a 5 which is very dangerous. I suggest dropping this down to a 2 so you don't get thrown off the scooter when you tap brakes. My brakes were also very squeaky out of box and had to take it back to the shop for a clean. The restrictor needs to be cut if want to go over 25km/h. Make sure tyres are at 40psi before usage. Better water proofing would be nice as I've been caught in a few down pours. The app is ok but feels unfinished. The deck is quite small and I get a bit of cramp in my back leg towards the end of my commute but that's an ok tradeoff for being light enough to get in the car when I need. Overall, I'm content with the scooter and with summer coming will be way more fun than winter. But I would suggest waiting for pro fighter mini model that's coming soon with higher water proofing and 60ah battery.
