Product Description:
Conquering climbs everywhere, the new Climber from e-scooter legends InMotion is the model everyone is talking about. Cleverly fusing the convenience of a simple commuter scooter with the torque and power of a sports scooter, while limiting the top speed to a sensible 35kmh, the Climber is truly the scooter that can do it all.
Did we mention the IP rating? The weatherproofing on this scooter is superior to any on the market. InMotion genuinely take the water-resistance seriously with an IPX6 rating on the scooter, and IP67 on the internal components.
Simplified riding comes from the single brake lever operating dual electric plus single disc brakes, a clever system that negates the need for 2 brake levers, while simultaneously braking both wheels.
Climbing power comes from the twin 450w motors, peaking at 750w, and fed from a 13.5ah battery. Take on challenging gradients, even from a standstill. This powerful small scooter will handle it all.
Single-click folding, LED head and taillights, and the first wheels designed for easy tyre changes you can do yourself, without needing to visit a workshop. The Climber is here to make your life an easy one. Climb on one today.
Excellent customer service with quick assistance and reasonable pricing Wide selection of electric scooters and bikes on display Knowledgeable and helpful staff willing to assist with repairs and parts, even for products not purchased from them
Just needed help fitting my electric scooter tire. The guy in the shop was super helpful, gave me the price straight away, and sorted it out quickly. Customer service was top-notch, and the price was very reasonable. They also have some cool electric scooters and bikes on display. There is plenty of parking outside, too. Thanks, mate – I'll definitely be back for more stuff!

Great old school service and expertise! This business should be where you start your search for e scooters, e bikes and those elusive parts!
Segway Ninebot class parts are difficult to find in NZ. Even finding a brake cable at a local store is a ridiculous mission.
Appears Segway don’t make their parts and service documentation - at least for ex hire variants - available to independent shops and the public.
Came in at 3pm on a long weekend Saturday. Luke is their go to man for service and parts.
without disassembly Luke couldn’t determine correct cable length but was still able to supply me with a cable that looks like it’s the one i need- if not i can fit this one externally for now and sort out a permanent replacement using the broken cable once i’ve removed it from the bar stem.
it’s increasingly rear to find businesses that are happy to spend time helping you resolve problems with products that you didn’t even purchase from them. When I’m in the market for a new a scooter or a bike I’m gonna be coming to these guys first and if they’ve got something that I like I’ll buy it from them rather than someone else even if it costs more because I know that I’ll be not only purchasing the E scooter or bike but after sales Service. The time that can be wasted with little to know after sales support easily exceeds any cost saving at the time of initial purchase. Much rather know that I can get consumables and other issues solved on the spot without mucking around and not be forced to spend days and days or weeks off the road and hours and hours of wasted time making pointless inquiries.
so refreshing not being told cable has to be sourced overseas and asked to email an enquiry as was the case with the other shops who were higher up the google search list - no doubt due to keyword spam and SEO. so happy i now know where to go!
So grateful that we still have local businesses that give a s@&! about their wares and customers! Kapai!!!!’
I recently purchased a scooter from this company, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the start, their customer service impressed me, especially with a thoughtful handwritten thank-you note that arrived before the scooter did! Buying online can be risky, but I felt completely confident with them.
The scooter itself has exceeded my expectations—it’s sturdy, efficient, and rides smoothly, even on bumpy roads. Plus, the battery life is amazing! I’m saving so much time on my daily commute.
Highly recommend this shop for anyone considering a reliable and stylish scooter.
Haven't purchased anything yet, however went in to look at their selection. They were very professional, offered sound advice and let me test ride a scooter I was interested in. There was no pressure for a sale and he took the time to listen to what I was after and point me in the right direction. They also have a repair service and are more than happy to repair scooters purchased from other stores.
I'd highly recommend popping in to the store if you are local and considering purchasing a scooter.
He's so much gorgeous! He is someone who considers what is the best electric scooter for the customer seriously. Actually I was supposed to go to the skateboard shop today but it was changed because I met him. He found a nice electric scooter for me. Thank you for attend to me so gently and kindly considering.
Always there to help, thank you, guys! Fair and clear communication, effective at any job they do. I would recommend buying your scooter from them, as we ended up asking them to repair and recover and finally recycle what an other "scooter shop" in Rosedale cheated us into buying. Our new one will be from the trust experts, for sure.
My partner and I have had the most amazing experience with Andrew at this store. He was very knowledgeable and extremely kind. Thank you so much for your efforts, 100% recommend!!
Great shop with a good range of quality products.
Jonno knows his stuff and they support the products with all of the tyres and servicing that you’re going to need.
I just recently got a InMotion Air Pro from this store and am new to this. Andrew and Joorno were so helpful with explaining it to me simply and were patient with answering my queries. Would definitely recommend for entry level customers who are looking to purchase an e scooter :)
Most amazing team!! Spent a good few hours learning everything possible to get the best e scooter for price, took the recommendation of which one to purchase for our budget and have an extremely happy young adult! I even had a go on it today!!! And didn't injury myself lol
I Purchase the air pro for my daughter's birthday what a great E scooter I was more than impressed so impressed now I want one! The joy I get from watching her ride it with confidence is comforting,
Getting her off the the devices and out and about will give her more convenience in life
Great customer service they were more than helpful highly recommend
Thanks

I recently bought a Surron dirt bike and the team were extremely helpful and great to deal with. Loving the bike! A big thanks for the personalized card received a few days later too, it’s the little touches that make a great company. Thanks heaps!
I bought a cool Surron Lightbee from the Electric Scooter Shop, Jonno and Andrew we're very helpful with my questions and research. Thanks guys you did a great job!
I went to see an ex- demonstrator that had popped up on their social media ads the evening before. Straight to the point, Andy was helpful and friendly. The trail round the tuff crater right next to the shop is great for a test ride, and I drove away with exactly what I went for, at a great price.
I love how easily it climbs steep hills. I'm 105 kgs and this scooter powers up hills that would stop my old scooter in its tracks. In addition, the scooter accelerates very fast. The power this thing has made me laugh with joy. It's quite a liberating experience. The Climber is also extremely well-built. The frame is very strong and the welds are top-notch. The latching components are all metal and the stem lock is solid and easy to use. The headlight is awesome. It's bright and wide. You can see everything in front of you clearly. The tires are high quality and make the ride very smooth. It is a little heavy to carry up the stairs, but I have a bad back. What I do is fold and latch the stem, grab the frame from the back, and pull it up the stairs one at a time. Other than that, I am extremely pleased with the Climber. I would have paid $2500 for it.
