This is my first scooter, so I can't compare it with any others, apart from what I've seen on YouTube etc. But I love it, it's a beast, really, really solid and strong and the acceleration is amazing in every gear
I try to get out on it every day if the weather's good and it performs so well each time, perfect for pavement, asphalt and dirt paths. I don't go off-road, so can't comment on that
The headlight is fantastic and the sideboard lights are really eye-catching for night rides. I bought it during Auckland's lockdown as as soon they went to Level 3 it was freighted overnight and I got it the next day. Jonno and the team have been great, really supportive the whole time and full of great advice
If you want a machine with a bit of grunt but it's not over the top and you know you can control it, this is the one
As discussed I have taken some photos of my journey with my S9.
It’s been fantastic, I have gone from 6 bus trips per day to two.
I’m 49 yrs. old and each time I jump on it feels like an adventure.
The Eagle is a very fast and powerful scooter, acceleration is very intense and I have got it to 60 km in second gear have not even tried 3rd gear yet excellent ground clearance and the the quality is great feels extremely solid. I highly recommend this scooter to anyone that wants speed and performance. The scooter is also a perfect balance as I can fit it in a car for transportation.
I was very impressed with the power of this scooter with dual 800 watt motors it goes up hills easy. I got to a top speed of 54 km on flat a quick scooter well built and a lot of fun!
I've owned a HeroS9 for around a month now and it's been awesome. It folds up small enough to take onto the ferry during my commute. It's also really quick, getting over 50kph on the flat!
The main drawback is that in the wet the rear tyre flings water and dirt up my legs and back which isn't ideal on the ride in to work. No reason not to give five stars for me.
This scooter is absolutely incredible! For something with a 1000 watt motor you'll be surprised where it'll get you and what hills it'll climb. I use this as a daily commuter to and from work (20km round trip per day) and I can do this on a single charge and still have some juice left for a blast around town once home. With a weight of 26kg it's easy to lift with one hand once you fold it and have the weight centred.
Overall I'm very very happy with the scooter and even happier with the impeccable service from the team at The Electric Scooter Shop. Jonno and the team here are amazing and know their stuff!
If you're in the market for a quick nimble easy to lift scooter look no further than Hero S10 you won't be disappointed!
What to say about this beauty of a machine??
When I bought it 9 months ago I researched and rode every available scooter and landed on this for the following reasons:
thumb throttle - safer due to brake access, more control than finger throttle as acceleration is less like a hair trigger and more gradual although with dual motor you can still get off with a wheel spin at the lights very very quickly should you wish
Suspension - nothing else gave me the firmness, sense of security but with just the right amount of comfort.
Stem wobble - there is none at all - every other scooter I tried had at least some
Brakes - best in class
Looks - it’s more understated than it’s competitors
Overall ride - just so good. Smooth, quick, solid, nimble so you can weave in and out of pedestrians and fun!! So much fun!!
The downsides - security. There is not an easy or obvious was to secure the scooter to anything so you can only really go around the stem as a decent lock won’t go through the suspension arm but with it going round the stem, a would-be thief only needs an Allen key to remove the handle bars.
Alas, my story is that this happened to me. A few weeks ago it was stolen. Luckily it was fully insured but that meant starting the research all over again to see what had arrived since I had purchased the OXO.
I tried the Hero’s, the Dualtrona, the Vsett and Wolf Warrior and in the end still none came close to this.
The OxO is liking driving a German car - solid with power when you need it. The others were like riding a toy or like driving a super tuned Honda or such like. Sure, they were quick but they lacked the class, feel and elegance of these machines.
I just have to make sure I avoid the thieves in future!
Still best in class!!!
Excellent service. Good experience. I think its a good scooter
I was recommended this scooter by the staff and it has been really good. I just wanted a safe scooter for a work commute, and this does the job nicely. I am not so nimble and find it very stable and easy to ride. Plenty of power for the hills around Mt Eden where I live. Overall I think it is very good value.
I wanted a safe and stable scooter for my first scooter, and this has been perfect. I'm still learning as I go, but this has been easy to get on with and I love the feeling of freedom!
I just bought Dualtron Eagle from Electric Scooter Shop and I'm happy with my purchase guess what the Dualtron Eagle from my experience
Its rides on for a max speed of 92 kph! This is a powerful scooter with a medium price tag. Range and looks are awesome!
Very happy with the OX Super, great range with smooth power delivery. Weather you go with the OX Eco, OX Super or go for the OXO, the platform inspires confidence and comfort. By far the best commuter for New Zealand's unpredictable surfaces. Feedback for Inokim - It would be nice if bolt torque settings were given in the owners manual.
It goes hard for a little bugger. Surprised me. Can do some mean tricks on it too.
bought 2 OXOs Inokim scooters from Jonno,in March this year, great service great scooters, would recommend buying from him, personable kiwi scooter shop in Devo!
I wanted a scooter where I didn't have to worry about battery life, and this scooter has one of the biggest batteries around. It also rides very smooth, the suspension is great. I thought it might accelerate a bit quicker, its good, but I have ridden faster scooters. Overall its really well made though and comfy to ride a long distance on.
